Pants on fire
iTunes' automatic software update wants me to update my software by downloading Safari:
"Safari for Windows is the fastest and easiest-to-use web browser for the PC. It displays web pages faster than any other browser and is filled with innovative features -- all delivered in an efficient and elegant user interface."

Says who? Based on what?
I have had it with this nonsense from Apple. Granted, Safari may actually be a fairly decent browser, but HELLO? When I checked that little box that allowed iTunes to automatically download (but not install) software updates for iTunes, I expected it to do just that. And NOT foist some random software on me just because I'm not a Mac user with Safari pre-installed on my computer.
Honestly, I do not see how installing Safari on my computer can enhance my media-playing experience or iTunes' media-playing abilities.
Even if Safari has some obscure feature that hooks up with the iTunes Store, it's still an absurd idea because everyone knows the iTunes store is NOT SUPPORTED in Singapore. If Apple is smart enough to shove their homegrown browser into the faces of their rival's customers, I expect them to be smart enough to know where said customers reside before doing the shoving.
(Seriously, this better not be some whimsical ploy on some random Apple fanboy's part.)
ROAR!
